Since I wore a beautiful Monique Luillier dress for my destination wedding, I wanted to share her spring '10 collection. To view more of her previous and current collections visit her website.
Hi! I'm Ro and I'm the proud owner of Couture Engagements. I love everything couture-stilettos, Palm Beach, celebrity weddings, Saks (on sale), cosmos. If it's not pink, forget about it. I love my family, friends and my clients. Without them, there is no me.
Our Couture e-Planning is great for the bride and groom that need advice but do not need a face-to-face coordination consultation. Just email us your ideas, concerns and questions and we will respond with the info you need usually within 24 hours.
Welcome to my Blog
After planning my own destination wedding in December 2008, I decided to start my very own wedding planning company in my hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana. There was something missing from the weddings I've attended in the city. That "wow" factor. I feel that everyone should be able to have a wedding coordinator regardless of your budget. Today's professional women often need assistance in planning one of the biggest celebrations of their lives. When working Mon.-Fri. 8-5, you should not have to use your 1-hr lunch break to meet a vendor and you should be able to enjoy your weekends off relaxing. On the "day-of," no bride should move tables, greet vendors, or set up ANYTHING! A brides only job is to relax and get gorgeous for her groom. I started this blog to share ideas, inspirations and to help many learn from my costly mistakes. I can help you maximize your hard earned money by prioritizing and making sure you spend where it counts the most. Researching is my specialty and can find just about anything. Couture doesn't always mean expensive. I know of some couture invites that cost $3.50 each and couture invites that cost $20 each. It all depends on what is important to you. We do whatever it takes and go above and beyond for all of our clients even if at the last minute you've changed your mind and we have to tie 300 ribbons on favor boxes the night before the wedding. (I used to work at Tiffany & Co., and yes you have to take a class to learn how to tie that famous Tiffany white bow.) While wedding coordination is a business, we are together every step of the way and become friends long after the ceremony. If you have an amazing story or idea you would like to share, please email Couture at coutureengagement@gmail.com. To learn more, please visit our website atCouture Engagements.
